Relay For Life

we are on the track getting ready for the survivor lap

all the survivors made hand prints for a large banner
hear is my candlehere is Aunt Jeans all the bags around the track they each have a name on them either in honor of or in memory of and each name will be read out loud as they light each candle. the candles will help us see in the middle of the night

We are doing the survivor lap

That evening after they lit the candles we had thunderstorms
and all the bags got wet and they tried to keep them lit as much as possible but some bags caught on fire most got so wet they fell over
but one stood tall in front of the word HOPE
It was Jean's
I like to think she was there watching over us on the track as we walked around in the dark

Kirsten and I walked from 3:00Am- 5AM

I think she was the youngest walker this year

My team came in 4th place in fundraising of 15 teams in the Mifflinburg area which is great for only having 17 members

and I raised $250.00 in honor of Jean

Cow Trouble

I got a phone call from Amy and as I answered the phone this is what I saw
I thought I was seeing things I wanted to help her but knew if I got her head unstuck I would never catch her
so I called reinforcements to tackle the calf

Then I sat on her while Roger fixed the fence
she did not like this and fought me the whole time and did not want her photo taken
Back in her cage she goesSpring is here so who knows what will happen next
